Description

Lysimachia lichiangensis is a robust species forming a compact stump. It is sometimes biennial. This non-suckering plant emits robust, villous, reddish stems at the nodes. They are highly ramified in their upper part. The stems form a large, loose bush.

The foliage consists of glaucous, lanceolate, soft leaves, which are thick to the touch. They are extremely villous, especially on the underside. Pale-yellow flowers, similar in appearance to those of L. ciliata, appear in great numbers at the axil of the leaves.
