Hydrangea paniculata Great Star Le Vasterival

This hydrangea requires a sunny or partially shaded location in humus-bearing, neutral to acidic soil. It tolerates sandy to rocky soils, but not excessively dry ones. At planting, install it in deeply tilled soil. A good base fertilizer (horn or dehydrated blood) will promote the establishment of your plant and nourish it without the risk of burning. If your soil tends to be dry, mix our water retainer, stockosorb, with the soil when filling the planting hole and provide a surface watering basin. In late summer, we advise you not to cut the dry umbels, as they will protect the terminal shoots of the branches in winter. Although not essential, we recommend pruning your hortensia paniculata Great Star® 'Le Vasterival' in late winter to promote the growth of its inflorescences and harmonize its habit.
