Description

The Purple Rain composition creates a tricolour bouquet with romantic accents, from summer to autumn. A single container houses three particularly floriferous and easy-to-care-for annual plants. Already composed and ready to plant, this trio allows you to dress up your terrace or balcony for an immediate and long-lasting tasteful effect!

The Purple Rain composition consists of:

- 1 x Verbena Venturi Purple:  a compact, early garden verbena that is less susceptible to mildew than the usual varieties. Its bouquets of violet flowers, 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4in) wide, bloom on a small, bushy, trailing plant.

- 1 x Calibrachoa Cabaret Early Pink: an early variety that will bloom even during short days. Its large flowers have a truly bright pink colour. The plant forms a pretty, wider than tall, clump, not exceeding 25 cm (10in) in height.

- 1 x Brachyscome Brasco Violet: this selection forms a small clump, 25-30 cm (10-12in) in all directions. It produces numerous mauve daisy-like flowers with yellow centres, about 4 cm (2in) in diameter. The foliage consists of 10-15 cm (4-6in) long, hairy, compound leaves. The nectar-rich flowers attract pollinating insects and butterflies.

Growing in the same pot, these annual plants get along well, each taking its place without suffocating the others. They should be repotted in a larger container to showcase them on the balcony or terrace. This composition requires little maintenance, apart from regular watering. Regular feeding with flowering plant fertilizer will be appreciated.
