Mint (Mentha) of the Lamiaceae family comes in a multitude of varieties. It is grown in the vegetable garden, the herb garden or simply in pots on the balcony for the fragrance of its leaves. Its lanceolate foliage releases such a fresh, powerful aroma that a simple touch is enough to reveal it. There is no more versatile herb: savoury dishes, desserts, hot or cold beverages, remedies.
