Rosa Pierre Arditi is a modern variety with sublime white flowers. It has received multiple awards, particularly for its fragrance and disease resistance. This vigorous and healthy rose offers months of magnificent turbinate roses in a perfect white. They emit a powerful and complex fragrance with floral notes of rose, white flowers, white peach, and pear. Plant it near a passage or close to a patio to enjoy the fragrance. The long-lasting cut flowers will bring the beautiful scent indoors.
Rosa Pierre Arditi, registered by the Meilland house in 2011, has won numerous awards in international competitions: Gold Medal Grand Flowers, Mention of Arts and Mention of Young Buenos Aires 2007, Special Prize Grand Flowers and Certificate St Albans 2008, Gold Medal and Perfume Prize Rome 2008, Gold Medal and Perfume Prize Le Roeulx 2008, Perfume Prize Nantes 2010, Certificate Baden-Baden 2016.
The plant quickly forms an upright, ramified bush with particularly vigorous growth for a modern hybrid tea rose. It can reach up to 1.2m (4ft) in height, with a spread of 50cm (20in) or more. From June until late in the season, large roses measuring 13 to 14cm (5 to 6in) in diameter bloom in successive waves. They are composed of 95 petals arranged in a classic-shaped turbinate flower. At full bloom, the petals in the centre tighten into quarters, somewhat like certain old roses. The pure white petals sometimes take on a slight pink reflection in humid and cool weather. The disease resistance of this rose is excellent. It bears beautiful foliage cut into large leaflets of a shiny dark green. This deciduous, hardy bush loses its leaves in autumn. It will thrive when planted in rich, deep soil that stays moist in summer.
Rosa Pierre Arditi can be placed as a focal point, in small groups of three or five plants, within a low hedge, or in a flower bed. It looks wonderful in all gardens and is easy to grow in all regions. The white colour of its roses goes well with all other blooms, as well as with foliage of purple, silver, or golden hues. Consider planting it with very easy-to-grow plants like Chinese peonies, perennial geraniums (Geranium 'Blue Cloud', G. 'Anne Folkard', G. 'Nimbus', G. 'Orion'), campanulas (lactiflora, rapunculoides), catmints, perennial salvias, and foxgloves. Dwarf buddleias also make lovely companions for bush roses. Its flowers can be used to create romantic bouquets that delicately perfume the house.

Choose a sunny exposure or partial shade in very hot regions. Work the soil to a depth of 25cm (10in), crumble the soil well, and place a base amendment such as dried blood or dehydrated horn at the bottom of the planting hole. Position your plant, removed from its pot, and cover the top of the root ball with 3cm (1in) of soil. Fill in the hole and water generously to eliminate air pockets. In dry weather, water regularly for a few weeks to facilitate root growth. Provide your rose with special rose fertiliser that stimulates flowering in plants.
Roses are often stained or unsightly at the end of summer, but this will not hinder their development. These spots are a natural phenomenon and will not harm the rose.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
