Thanks to the individuals (for order preparation and shipping), the bare root rose received appears healthy to me. Planted near the 'Oxford' variety, I am now patiently awaiting its growth... or not?

The 'Caroline's Heart' rosebush, highly awarded in prestigious rose competitions, is a lush bush that blooms continuously from late spring to the first frost. Its double corollas of a pale pink colour, with the fragrance of old roses and myrrh, open in clusters on dark green foliage that remains decorative throughout the season. With very good disease resistance and reliability, it is also a versatile variety that can be used in the garden, in pots, and as cut flowers. Definitely worth discovering!
The 'Caroline's Heart' Rose is a creation from Lens Roses dating back to 2018. This modern variety already has a beautiful track record: Barcelona 2018: 1st prize in the landscape roses category -Barcelona 2018: prize from the Castell de San Foix Horticultural School -Baden-Baden 2019: silver medal in the shrub rose category -Warsaw 2020 (rose trials): bronze medal. In just a few years, it forms a compact, upright bush with sturdy thorny stems, averaging 1.35m (4ft) in height and 90cm (35in) in width. It has large, dark green, slightly glossy, compound foliage that is resistant to diseases. This deciduous foliage falls in autumn. The flowering continues from May-June until October-November, consistently. The wide corollas, measuring 7-8 cm (3in), are composed of 17 to 25 petals. They are grouped in clusters of 6 to 20. The tightly closed buds open into slightly turbinate corollas. At full bloom, they offer bees their heart filled with golden stamens. Their colour gradually fades from pale pink to very pale pink. This rose has a pleasant fragrance and is highly resistant to rain.
The floribunda roses allow you to create beautiful small hedges, planted along the edge of a terrace or in small shrub beds. Combine them with ground cover roses, abelias, nandinas, or caryopteris, for example. They are perfect companions for catmints, foxgloves, and tall baby's breath. The vigour, generosity, and resistance of 'Caroline's Heart' make it an interesting variety for all gardens, even small ones and for container gardening. Its uses are varied, depending on each gardener's desires: in a rose bed, alongside white varieties ('Marie Pavie', 'Swanny'), pink or mauve varieties ('Blue Boy', 'Rhapsody in Blue'). Like all roses, it looks stunning when mixed with easy-to-grow perennials such as hardy geraniums or asters. And its roses are lovely in small bouquets or as centrepieces, paired with double clematis flowers, for example.

Botanical data
Plant the 'Caroline's Heart' rose from November to March, in ordinary, well-prepared and well-drained soil. Roses prefer clayey soils rather than light ones. In soil that is too sandy, compact or dry in summer, it is preferable to incorporate compost, decomposed manure or compost at the bottom of the planting hole. However, this rose fears waterlogged soils in winter. Place it in a sunny location, or at most in partial shade. Roses are hungry plants, so a specific fertiliser application will be beneficial at the start of the growing season, and regularly throughout the flowering period. To encourage reblooming, regularly remove faded flowers. Floribunda rose varieties are more vigorous and floriferous than large-flowered rose varieties. Therefore, prune the stems by about a quarter of their length (from 4 to 6 eyes from the base of the stem) at the end of winter. Always prune above an outward-facing bud, so that the shrub can bush out and the branches do not become entangled in the centre of the canopy.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
