Our range of Black Pines (Pinus nigra). These conifers, whether large or small, all originate from the Austrian Black Pine (Pinus nigra nigra), a majestic, hardy, dark-foliaged tree with a dense, pyramidal habit. They are prized for their evergreen foliage and resilience to harsh conditions.

The cultivars Pierrick Brégeon and Agnes Brégeon stand out for their elegance and compact size. 'Pierrick Brégeon' offers a dense, rounded habit, perfect for small gardens and rockeries. the more slender ‘Agnes Brégeon’, charms with its upright form and regular growth, ideal for hedges or as a standalone feature. 'Marie Brégéon' naturally forms an 80 cm diameter ball without requiring any pruning, making it equally suitable for pot cultivation or planting in contemporary, Japanese-style, or rock gardens. The ‘Green Tower’ Black Pine forms a slender cone reaching 4 m in height with a compact and well-structured habit.

The Black Pine is a conifer from the Pinaceae family, native to Europe and Asia. It bears dark green evergreen needles grouped in pairs and features fissured grey to black bark. It adapts to harsh climates and has given rise to several decorative and compact cultivars, equally hardy for our gardens.
