Water the small and dry young plant in the hope that it will recover, a bit disappointed, already purchased this plant, the claw much larger." Analysis of the translated text: - "Water" is correctly translated as "water" in British English. - "plant" is correctly translated as "young plant" in British English. - "petit et sec" is translated as "small and dry" in British English. - "espère que la plante va reprendre" is translated as "in the hope that it will recover" in British English. - "un peu dessus" is translated as "a bit disappointed" in British English. - "déjà acheté cette plante" is translated as "already purchased this plant" in British English. - "griffe beaucoup plus grande" is translated as "the claw much larger" in British English. The translated text is correct in terms of grammar and vocabulary. However, there are a few issues with the clarity and coherence of the translation. Here is a revised version: "Water the small and dry young plant, hoping it will revive. A bit disappointed, as I have already purchased this plant and the claw is much larger.

Description

Eremurus 'Moneymaker' is a bulbous plant with fleshy roots that blooms in summer. From June to July, its spike-shaped flower stems are composed of hundreds of small salmon-yellow star-shaped flowers. The flowers open from bottom to top, creating a flowering period that spans several weeks.

Originally from Asia, the steppe lily is a majestic plant that can reach a height of up to 2m (7ft). The bulb, formed by large fleshy roots surrounding a bud, resembles an octopus. This tuberous stump produces elongated leaves that can reach up to 1m (3ft) in height. The leaves are deciduous and dry up when the first flowers appear, making it ideal for perennial borders that can hide its bare base. However, the border should not be too compact to avoid suffocating this plant.

This outdoor plant can be planted in groups or individually. It can also be placed in borders, rock gardens, and containers in small gardens. It provides a beautiful aspect on patios.

Planting and care

Plant Eremurus 'Moneymaker' during September-October in a sunny location, sheltered from the wind to prevent damage to the flower stalks. Place it in rich, fertile, moist but well-drained soil. If it is not well-drained enough, you can mix sand with the soil at the time of planting; well-drained soil allows for better root development. Plant the stumps in autumn, at a depth of 7cm (3in), no more, as it needs to be quickly warmed up when spring arrives. Winter moisture is fatal to it, so protect it with a covering of compost without touching the collar. The young shoots must be protected with a dry mulch. The plant does not require staking.
