Crocus vernus Remembrance

Crocus vernus 'Remembrance' is one of the small pleasures of spring. Its flowers open in March, with beautiful blue-violet petals displaying a bouquet of bright orange stamens. The colours show a luminous contrast.

This plant is perennial, so there is no need to store the bulbs during winter. From year to year, they will naturalise to form beautiful colourful patches and brighten up the garden in spring.

You can plant them in flower beds. They also work well in small groups in lawns as their growing cycle generally ends before the first mowing.
