Thanks to the individuals (?? for order preparation & quality control and L.T. from the shipping department), the 3 bulbs received appear to be healthy. Planted near white and pink roses, I am now waiting for them to take root... (or not?)" Analysis of the translated text: - The phrase "?? for order preparation & quality control and L.T. from the shipping department" is not clear and may need further clarification. - The phrase "I am now waiting for them to take root" could be improved by using the term "establish" instead of "take root" to better convey the intended meaning. - The use of parentheses in the original text is not necessary and can be removed in the translation. - The use of ellipsis (...) at the end of the sentence is appropriate to indicate a continuation or uncertainty.

Description

Lilium Corsage Asiatic Lily flowers in summer. In August, clusters of slightly scented, flowers open in star shapes. They are cream-yellow, pink at the ends and speckled with burgundy towards the centre.

These long-lasting flowers bloom on rigid stems. The deciduous leaves of the Corsage lily are narrow and shiny dark green. At maturity, this lily can reach a height of 90 to 120 cm (35 to 47in).

This plant grows rapidly. It is grown in mass plantings and for cutting, as its flowers make beautiful bouquets. The lily is a symbol of majesty.

Planting and care

Lilies like to be in full sun with their feet in the shade. Plant 10 cm (4in) deep in fertile, well-drained soil enriched with compost. Keep the soil moist but not wet. They prefer acidic soil. They enjoy winter cold which encourages them to root. The Corsage lily needs little maintenance. Be careful of spring frosts that can damage young shoots. Wait for the stems and leaves to turn yellow before cutting back the plant. It is susceptible to slugs, snails, and aphids.
