Magnificent! They flowered well all summer long, despite this heatwave! Their foliage is still very green! Perfect!

Planting and care

Geum ‘Borisii’ should be planted from March to May or from September to November, outside periods of frost and in soil that is not waterlogged. Plant it in full sun or in light shade in the afternoon. It should be planted in fertile soil or soil enriched with compost, remaining slightly moist but well-drained. This avens tolerates acid soils as well as chalky soils. Water regularly during the first summer. Once established, the plant tolerates short dry periods, but flowers for longer if the soil does not dry out. Carry out pruning of the faded flower stems after the first flush of flowers. Divide old clumps every three or four years, in spring or early autumn. In pots, use a container with drainage holes and water before the potting compost dries out completely.
