Description

A very vigorous Darwin tulip, with a golden yellow color. Sold in sets of 10, 30, and 100 bulbs.

NEW

Height 40cm (16in), flowering in April/May, size 12+.

Tip

A setting for your tulips: In spring, tulips bring color to the garden. Their only flaw: after flowering, their unsightly faded leaves remain. Our tip: Plant Heucheras in the foreground of your flower beds. Dare to create contrasts, their foliage will enhance the colours of your tulips and, during the season, elegantly hide their yellowed leaves.

Planting and care

How to plant my tulips? Plant your tulips as soon as possible in a well-drained soil. Loosen the soil deeply. Plant at a depth of 15cm (6in) (Bulbs should be covered with twice their height of soil). Space the bulbs a few cm apart, making sure they do not touch. Choose a sunny location for better flowering. After flowering, cut the flower stems and allow the leaves to dry completely before cutting them. After flowering, their foliage becomes unsightly and wilted, we recommend planting Heuchera, Tiarella, Brunnera, Bleeding Heart, Cypress Spurge, at the forefront of your flower beds, their foliage will enhance the colors of your tulips and during the season, they will elegantly hide their yellowed leaves.
