White alstroemerias, or white Peruvian lilies, are perennials with a long summer flowering period, suitable for pots, borders or flower beds depending on their height. Their flowers brighten up the garden or terrace from June until the first frosts. They also make excellent cut flowers. Plant them in sun or partial shade, in rich, well-drained soil.

Among the compact varieties, Alstroemeria Inticancha ‘Magic White’ is covered in pure white flowers finely streaked with brown. It is well suited to window boxes and border edges. Taller, Majestic ‘Mazé’ alstroemeria produces long, sturdy stems bearing delicately striped white flowers: it earns its place in a flower bed and provides plenty of stems for cut flowers. 'Garden Summer Snow’ is intended for open ground; its good cold resistance allows it to be grown in many regions.

Our guide « Inca Lily, Alstroemeria: planting, growing, care » details the planting steps, watering, winter protection and care tips to succeed with these perennials.
