Our selection of yellow alstroemerias comprises Peruvian lilies with mostly yellow flowers, from cream brightened with gold to deeper yellow. Some bear brown stripes, a dark throat or light salmon hues, but their overall colour is sunny. Depending on their height, they can be planted in pots, in borders, or in a sunny flowerbed. They are excellent cut flowers for summer arrangements.

Ideal for small spaces, ‘Duchesse Marguerite’ forms a rounded clump about 35 cm tall that becomes covered in bright yellow flowers with fine striping. Hardier in open ground, ‘Duc d’Anjou Nicolas’ reaches nearly 50 cm and flowers from June to October in two shades of yellow, dotted with brown. For cut flower arrangements, the taller varieties are more suitable: ‘Majestic Briançon’ bears very pale yellow flowers with a golden yellow heart, while the taller ‘Majestic Layon’ produces long stems furnished with soft yellow flowers touched with salmon.
