Mixmasters A Grape Fit is an innovative concept bringing together three annual plants, a lavender blue Sun Spun Lavender Star petunia, an intense purple Aztec Violet verbena, and a hot pink Calibrachoa Cabaret Hot Pink, in a beautiful harmony of vine colours. Growing together in balance, they all bloom abundantly from spring until the first frost. Each gardener can repeat the pattern as desired, in a large container, to create a lush and dense bouquet where the shades blend in a highly organised mosaic. With low water requirements, resistant to rain and almost maintenance-free, this collection of annuals is essential in hanging baskets or planters. Give it sun and fertile soil that is neutral to acidic, and well-drained.
Mixmasters A Grape Fit is an original cultivation technique that consists of sowing or propagating three distinct plants in the same cell. These are chosen for their complementary or matching colours, but also for the uniformity of their habit and growth. The A Grape Fit selection grows in a dense mound, 40 cm (16in) tall and 30 cm (12in) wide. Dark green stems and foliage beautifully highlight the flowering of this tireless trio, which lasts from May until the first frost.
Mixmasters A Grape Fit is an ideally balanced composition, in perfect taste, created for the ornamentation of hanging baskets, planters, or flowerpots. It can be planted alone or grouped in several plugs in troughs, flower boxes, or balcony planters on the terrace, balcony, or patio. An association with foliage plants, such as Silver Falls Dichondra, purple-leaved Ipomoea, Plectranthus, or Helichrysum petiolatum silver, is remarkable. The choice is vast and allows for the imagination and tastes of every gardener, even inexperienced ones.
Note: Please be aware that our young plug plants are professional products reserved for experienced gardeners: upon receipt, transplant and store them in sheltered areas (veranda, greenhouse, cold frame etc.) at a temperature above 14°C (57.2°F) for a few weeks before being installed outside once the risk of frost has definitively passed.

Botanical data
Plant your Mixmasters A Grape Fit in a pot. While waiting for the last frosts to pass, you can pre-cultivate them in a warm and bright place to accelerate their growth. They will flower from May-June to October. Plant them in a sunny location sheltered from the wind. They need a light and humus-rich soil, free of limestone, but above all well-draining, and they are sensitive to stagnant water. Do not water them too much at the beginning of vegetation as they are sensitive to excess moisture. They tolerate drought well, but will need regular watering during hot summer weather. Very floriferous and fast-growing, they are hungry. We recommend feeding them with a liquid fertiliser for surfinias once or twice a week during the growth period. Although not obligatory, you can remove faded flowers and dry leaves as they appear to keep them looking beautiful and extend the flowering period.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
