Our range of double primroses. These garden primroses are hardy perennials or biennials that flower in late winter or very early spring. Their main appeal lies in their double, full, and often fragrant flowers, which resemble small miniature roses. Those of 'Rosebud' F1 are a perfect illustration, in pure white.

The 'Belarina' Primroses like 'Beaujolais', 'Purple Dawn' or 'Snow' are very decorative in pots or borders. 'Rubens Antique Rose' F1 forms a cushion of double flowers in a palette ranging from old rose to yellow, pleasantly fragrant. 'Nectarine', also from the Belarina series, offers full flowers in apricot tones edged with pink, bringing warmth to the garden in late winter.

These double primroses reach 15 to 25 cm in height. They thrive in partial shade, in rich, humus-bearing, fresh, but well-drained soil. In the ground or in pots, plant them in autumn or late winter. Removing faded flowers will encourage prolonged flowering.
