Description
The Philodendron 'Painted Lady' is a tropical treasure to welcome into your home! The Philodendron 'Painted Lady' is a hybrid cultivar of Philodendron erubescens, belonging to the Araceae family. This cultivar was developed in Florida in the 1970s by horticulturist Robert McColley. It is a climbing perennial with moderate growth capable of reaching a height of 1.50 m with a spread of around 60 cm. Its leaves of an initially vibrant yellow speckled with green turn greener as they mature; they measure between 15 and 20 cm in length. The stems and petioles display a pinkish to reddish hue. Although the Philodendron 'Painted Lady' may produce inflorescences formed of a green spathe and white spadix; indoor flowering is however rare.
Warning - All parts of the Philodendron 'Painted Lady' are toxic if ingested, so be sure to keep it out of reach of children and pets.
