Planting and care

These bushes grow quickly in any rich, but fairly light soil and without excessive watering. They prefer a warm and sheltered exposure. Outside coastal areas, due to their poor hardiness (-8° (17.6 °F) to -10°), it is preferable to grow them in pots, and keep them frost-free during winter. Pruning rigorously in early spring maintains their compact and floriferous appearance. Their foliage persists throughout winter.
