Our range of salt-tolerant shrubs is ideal for coastal gardens exposed to salt-laden winds. These robust plants grow and flower vigorously in challenging environments.

Tamarisk (Tamarix) is a must-have with its flexible branches and feathery pink or white flowers that brighten gardens in spring or summer. Escallonia, with its glossy evergreen foliage and small pink, red or white flowers, is perfect for forming dense hedges resistant to sea wind. Ooleaster (Elaeagnus) offers silver or variegated, evergreen or deciduous foliage, and a nectar-rich, fragrant flowering. The strawberry tree (Arbutus) is interesting for its decorative fruits and white or pink bell-shaped flowers in autumn. Olearia produces charming daisy-like white flowers and forms compact, sturdy hedges. Griselinia, with its glossy leaves, makes an excellent protective screen against wind and salt.
