Description
This genus only has one species, which is a type of plant that lives in water. It can be found on the shores of basins, marshes, and turf moors, where it is protected in nature. Despite its exotic look, it is tough and can form big groups by spreading its roots on the bottom of the water. The leaves are shaped like hearts and have curled edges. The flowers are white and come in spathes, followed by red berries.
