Planting and care

In very cold regions, unearth the stumps at the first frost or just before. It is important to leave some soil around the roots, then store them in a frost-free place, even if they are deprived of light. Divide the stumps in March, if necessary. Plant the divisions in pots, in a well-lit and heated area to start them off, then transfer them to the garden when there is no longer a risk of frost.
