Description

Perennial plants with bulbous roots, originating from South Africa. They are always stunning, but not always very hardy. The upright foliage resembles that of irises and the flowers resemble miniature gladioli. Planting the corms at a depth of 15-20 cm (6-8in) helps them establish. Suitable for any well-drained, gravelly or sandy, rich or poor, moist or dry soil without stagnant moisture in winter.

Large reddish-orange flowers with a light yellow centre.
