Hard to distinguish between the "bulbs" of rhodohypoxis and the soil! For once a little disappointed upon receiving the "plants"!

Planting and care

Plant your Rhodohypoxis at a depth of 3 to 5 cm (1 to 2in) and 8 to 10 cm (3 to 4in) apart. They look stunning planted in groups of 5 or 10 in pretty planters. Water frequently during the growing season. They start flowering in the first year after planting. They are sensitive to cold winters with stagnant humidity. In this case, the bulbs will need to be brought indoors before the frost to spend the winter dry and protected from the cold in dry compost.
