Description

Superb umbelliferous plant with highly cut fern-like foliage forming a branched clump about 70 cm (28in) tall and wide, topped by strong stems carrying large umbels of pure white flowers. This plant retains a strong preference for moist and rich but well-drained soil, from its mountain origins.

We use it in the moist part of our rockery, slightly shaded and with few rocks. In lighter soils, you can plant it in a border where it will bring a touch of naturalness to the slightly more sophisticated perennials.
