Description

Perennial plants with bulbous stump, originating from South Africa, always superb but not always very hardy. The upright foliage resembles that of irises and the flowers resemble miniature gladioli. Note that planting the corms at a depth of 15-20 cm (6-8in) greatly benefits nature. Suitable for any soil that is very well-drained, gravelly or sandy, rich or poor, moist or dry, but without stagnant moisture in winter.

Bright yellow flower on the inside, reddish-orange on the outside.
