Description

Helleborus x hybridus Ballard's Group is a delightful perennial boasting upright flowers in shades ranging from white, pale-pink, and light red. Some flowers are speckled with dark pink.

These hybrids result from cross-breeding, mainly involving Helleborus orientalis and its subspecies. They have beautiful dark green and glossy evergreen foliage. The flowering period, which varies greatly from one region to another, spreads from February to April.

Each hellebore has a unique flower colour. Slight variations in colours may exist between two plants, which is normal and inevitable. However, if the difference is significant and alters the desired effect, we will refund or replace the affected plant.

Planting and care

It thrives in any moist soil, even clayey, preferably without limestone. Cut the foliage down to the ground just at the end of winter, before the appearance of flowers and new leaves, in order to prevent black spot disease and maintain the plant's brightness.
