Requires a lot of water, fertiliser, and a good location... in short, a beautiful plant but it has proven to be quite demanding in my case.

Description

This white Million Bells Petunia is perfect for pots and hanging baskets with its trailing habit. It will also beautifully adorn the edges of your flower beds or the base of your climbing plants.

Million bells petunias are among the most recent cultivars. They are covered with smaller, but very numerous flowers. They are more drought-resistant and thrive in sunny locations.

Height 40 cm (16in), flowering from June to October.

Note: Please be aware that our young plug plants are professional products intended for experienced gardeners: upon receipt, transplant and store them under shelter (veranda, greenhouse, cold frame...) at a temperature above 14°C (57.2°F) for a few weeks before being placed outdoors once the risk of frost is definitively eliminated.

Planting and care

Plant after the last heavy frost (petunias tolerate a light late frost) in a sunny or semi-shaded position. Very floriferous and fast-growing, they are greedy. Feed them with a liquid fertilizer for surfinias once or twice a week during the growing season. Do not overwater, as they are sensitive to excess moisture. They tolerate drought well, but water regularly during hot summer temperatures. Remove faded flowers and dry leaves.
