Unfortunately, not up to my expectations. Despite regular watering, the plants in a planter in front of my door have never been splendid, always a bit dull with few flowers.

Description

Princess in Purple scented Alyssum, also known as Lobularia, is a vigorous annual plant with a creeping habit. Very floriferous, it produces a carpet of small flowers measuring 2 to 8 cm (1 to 3in) in diameter, arranged in fragrant clusters, from the beginning of the season. Princess in Purple is a new variety with lavender to deep purple flowers.

You can use it in hanging baskets or suspended planters.

Alyssum pairs well with white bacopas, small-flowered petunias like million bells or supertunias, as well as large double petunias, to which it will bring a sense of lightness.

Note: Please be aware that our young plug plants are professional products intended for experienced gardeners. Upon receipt, transplant and store them in a sheltered place (veranda, greenhouse, cold frame etc.) at a temperature above 14°C (57.2°F) for a few weeks before being planted outdoors once the risk of frost has definitively passed.
