Description
We offer you a collection of 5 Nasturtiums. It is formed of:
2 Yellow Nasturtiums with orange maculate
3 Red Nasturtiums
Nasturtium or Tropaeolum majus is an annual climbing plant reaching 2.5m in height, with rounded leaves about 4cm across in light green colour.
Its rapid growth and continuous flowering from May until the first frosts make it an excellent choice as a climbing plant, as well as an all-terrain groundcover - it thrives in poor soils - for slopes, low walls... You can also grow it in pots where it will make an elegant trailing plant. Native to South America, it was introduced to Europe as a vegetable plant under the name "Peruvian cress"; today it is more often used as an organic aphid repellent (it attracts all nearby aphids which then leave the vegetable garden or neighbouring fruit trees alone) than in salads.
Green young plants of 4 to 8cm in packs of 5 small plugs 2.8cm in diameter and 4cm high. Our young plants are at least eight weeks old and sufficiently strong to be planted out in open ground.

Note: Please note, our plug plants are professional products reserved for experienced gardeners: upon receipt, transplant and store them under cover (conservatory, greenhouse, cold frame...) at a temperature above 14°C for several weeks before planting them outdoors once the risk of frost has completely passed.
