I'm looking forward to seeing the outcome, but the mini plants arrived in very good condition, very healthy.

Description

Called the Colour-changing Tobacco PlantNicotiana mutabilis Marshmallow has a long and fragrant flowering period.

Annual plant native to the United States, Nicotiana Marshmallow is a new selection with generous flowering. From June onwards, it produces a myriad of fragrant flowers, ranging from dark pink to ivory white for 5 months. The trumpet-shaped flowers measure 6cm (2in) in length and are carried on sturdy inflorescences at 1.30m (4ft) to 1.50m (5ft) in height!

The luxuriant leaves form large rosettes 50-60cm (20-24in) in diameter, and are a beautiful tender green.

Easy to grow, this ornamental tobacco should not lack rich soil or water in order to bloom until autumn. Plant it in full sun or partial shade, in a large pot or at the back of a border.

Note: Please note that our young plug plants are professional products reserved for experienced gardeners: upon receipt, transplant and store them in a sheltered place (veranda, greenhouse, cold frame...) at a temperature above 14°C (57.2°F) for a few weeks before being planted outdoors once the risk of frost has definitively passed.
