Description
Lantana Bloomify™ Rose ('Baloomink') is a variety from the Bloomify series, renowned for its exceptional floriferousness and vigour. This series, certified 100% sterile, offers exceptionally floriferous plants that do not produce seeds. The rounded flower clusters of 'Bloomify Rose' evolve in a gradient of warm and bright hues: they open to a vivid yellow, then take on shades of salmon pink and fuchsia pink. Ideal for flower beds and large containers, this sustained flowering brightens gardens from summer until the first frosts.
Lantana 'Bloomify Rose' is a small bush belonging to the Verbenaceae family. It is part of a group of horticultural hybrids derived from Lantana camara, which benefit from compact and branching growth. This variety reaches 40 cm in height and width in a single season, offering a rounded and balanced habit. Compared to the 'Lucky' series, 'Bloomify' is slightly later: its flowering is delayed by 1 to 2 weeks, but compensates for this delay with its density and duration.
Easy to grow Lantana 'Bloomify Rose' thrives in full sun and light, well-drained, even poor or slightly sandy soil. It is low-maintenance, only requiring moderate watering. This variety pairs beautifully with plants in cool or complementary tones. Combine it with mauve calibrachoas, white petunias, or white or mauve garden verbenas for flowering containers. In flower beds, it harmonises perfectly with light grasses like Stipa or perennials such as daylilies, which will add volume and elegance to your summer plantings.
Note: Please note, our plug plants are professional products intended for experienced gardeners: upon receipt, transplant and store them under cover (conservatory, greenhouse, cold frame...) at a temperature above 14°C for a few weeks before moving them outdoors once the risk of frost has completely passed.

Planting and care
You can plant Lantana Bloomify in the ground or in pots. If planting in the ground, wait until the last frosts have passed (they can tolerate a light frost). In the meantime, you can grow them on in pots in a warm and bright spot to accelerate their growth. Plant your Lantanas in a sunny or partially shaded position. They require light, humus-rich soil and benefit from fertiliser. They can tolerate occasionally dry soil. In pots, they should be watered regularly. Although typically grown as annuals, they are actually tender perennials: by bringing them indoors at the first frosts, you can extend their flowering into autumn and winter. Outdoor cultivation is possible by the seaside, with good winter mulching. Light pruning in March is recommended.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
The flowering period indicated on our website applies to countries and regions located in USDA zone 8 (France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, etc.)
It will vary according to where you live:- In zones 9 to 10 (Italy, Spain, Greece, etc.), flowering will occur about 2 to 4 weeks earlier.
- In zones 6 to 7 (Germany, Poland, Slovenia, and lower mountainous regions), flowering will be delayed by 2 to 3 weeks.
- In zone 5 (Central Europe, Scandinavia), blooming will be delayed by 3 to 5 weeks.
In temperate climates, pruning of spring-flowering shrubs (forsythia, spireas, etc.) should be done just after flowering.
Pruning of summer-flowering shrubs (Indian Lilac, Perovskia, etc.) can be done in winter or spring.
In cold regions as well as with frost-sensitive plants, avoid pruning too early when severe frosts may still occur.
The planting period indicated on our website applies to countries and regions located in USDA zone 8 (France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Netherlands).
It will vary according to where you live:
- In Mediterranean zones (Marseille, Madrid, Milan, etc.), autumn and winter are the best planting periods.
- In continental zones (Strasbourg, Munich, Vienna, etc.), delay planting by 2 to 3 weeks in spring and bring it forward by 2 to 4 weeks in autumn.
- In mountainous regions (the Alps, Pyrenees, Carpathians, etc.), it is best to plant in late spring (May-June) or late summer (August-September).
The harvesting period indicated on our website applies to countries and regions in USDA zone 8 (France, England, Ireland, the Netherlands).
In colder areas (Scandinavia, Poland, Austria...) fruit and vegetable harvests are likely to be delayed by 3-4 weeks.
In warmer areas (Italy, Spain, Greece, etc.), harvesting will probably take place earlier, depending on weather conditions.
The sowing periods indicated on our website apply to countries and regions within USDA Zone 8 (France, UK, Ireland, Netherlands).
In colder areas (Scandinavia, Poland, Austria...), delay any outdoor sowing by 3-4 weeks, or sow under glass.
In warmer climes (Italy, Spain, Greece, etc.), bring outdoor sowing forward by a few weeks.
