First order on your website and disappointed with the plants which are really not like in your photo, especially with the packaging. One plant is only one centimetre with two leaves that are fighting each other. I'm seriously hesitant about placing another order with you...

Description
Petunia sophistica Lime Green is remarkable for its beautiful yellow colour with a hint of lime green that does not fade over time. Its large flowers bloom abundantly from summer until the first frost, on a small, compact tuft with a neat appearance. It is a particularly bright, very fresh variety with generous flowering. Superb with the Petunia Sophistica Blackberry with almost black flowers.
Petunia Sophistica Lime Green has rapid and vigorous growth and a compact habit, reaching 35 cm (14in) high and 30 cm (12in) wide. Its flowers measure 5 to 6 cm (2in) in diameter. They consist of five petals arranged in a circular pattern with a single flower per peduncle. Their colour ranges from pale yellow to acid green.
Originating from South America and belonging to the Solanaceae family (like Ornamental Tobacco, but also like... the potato!), Petunia is a herbaceous plant that is theoretically perennial but frost-sensitive. It bears charming funnel-shaped flowers on hairy stems, with variable size and colour depending on the varieties. Its dar green leaves are slightly hairy, with smooth edges. It begins flowering as early as June and continues until the first frost.
You can plant the Petunia Sophistica Lime Green in your garden, as a border or in a flowerbed, and of course in a pot, planter or hanging basket, where it will look wonderful on its own or accompanied by Sweet Alyssum, Mealy Cup Sage, Ornamental Tobacco, or Variegated Creeping Soft Grass for a modern and contrasting effect.
Petunias thrive in sunny locations sheltered from the wind. They should be planted in rich, light, and well-drained soil or substrate. Their are easy to grow but they need plenty of water. To encourage and support their long flowering period, it is important to regularly remove faded flowers and feed them with a potassium-rich fertiliser, especially in pots and planters, to promote the appearance of new flowers.
Supplied as growing plants measuring 4 to 8 cm (2 to 3in) in trays of 5 small plugs with a diameter of 2.5 cm (1in) and a height of 4 cm (2in). Our plants are at least eight weeks old and strong enough to be planted in the ground.
Note: Please be aware that our plug plants are products intended for experienced gardeners: upon receipt, transplant them and store them under shelter (veranda, greenhouse, cold frame...) at a temperature above 14°C (57.2°F) for a few weeks before planting them outdoors once all risk of frost has passed.

Planting and care
You can plant your Sophistica Lime Green petunias in the ground or in a pot. If you want to plant them in the ground, wait until the last heavy frosts have passed (petunias can tolerate a light late frost). In the meantime, you can grow them on in a pot in a warm and bright place to accelerate their growth. Petunias will flower from June to October. Plant your petunias in a sunny or partially shaded location, protected from the wind. They need light and humus-rich, well-draining soil. Do not overwater them at the beginning of the growing season, as they are sensitive to excess moisture. They tolerate drought quite well but will need regular watering during hot summer weather. Petunias are susceptible to frost (minimum -1°C (30.2°F)). They are floriferous and fast-growing, hungry plants. We recommend feeding them with a liquid fertiliser once or twice a week during the growing season. Remove faded flowers and dry leaves as they appear to keep them looking good and extend the flowering period.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
The flowering period indicated on our website applies to countries and regions located in USDA zone 8 (France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, etc.)
It will vary according to where you live:- In zones 9 to 10 (Italy, Spain, Greece, etc.), flowering will occur about 2 to 4 weeks earlier.
- In zones 6 to 7 (Germany, Poland, Slovenia, and lower mountainous regions), flowering will be delayed by 2 to 3 weeks.
- In zone 5 (Central Europe, Scandinavia), blooming will be delayed by 3 to 5 weeks.
In temperate climates, pruning of spring-flowering shrubs (forsythia, spireas, etc.) should be done just after flowering.
Pruning of summer-flowering shrubs (Indian Lilac, Perovskia, etc.) can be done in winter or spring.
In cold regions as well as with frost-sensitive plants, avoid pruning too early when severe frosts may still occur.
The planting period indicated on our website applies to countries and regions located in USDA zone 8 (France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Netherlands).
It will vary according to where you live:
- In Mediterranean zones (Marseille, Madrid, Milan, etc.), autumn and winter are the best planting periods.
- In continental zones (Strasbourg, Munich, Vienna, etc.), delay planting by 2 to 3 weeks in spring and bring it forward by 2 to 4 weeks in autumn.
- In mountainous regions (the Alps, Pyrenees, Carpathians, etc.), it is best to plant in late spring (May-June) or late summer (August-September).
The harvesting period indicated on our website applies to countries and regions in USDA zone 8 (France, England, Ireland, the Netherlands).
In colder areas (Scandinavia, Poland, Austria...) fruit and vegetable harvests are likely to be delayed by 3-4 weeks.
In warmer areas (Italy, Spain, Greece, etc.), harvesting will probably take place earlier, depending on weather conditions.
The sowing periods indicated on our website apply to countries and regions within USDA Zone 8 (France, UK, Ireland, Netherlands).
In colder areas (Scandinavia, Poland, Austria...), delay any outdoor sowing by 3-4 weeks, or sow under glass.
In warmer climes (Italy, Spain, Greece, etc.), bring outdoor sowing forward by a few weeks.
