Our table grape vines. These are varieties chosen for the pleasure of enjoying their fresh fruit. White, pink or black grapes, crisp flesh or seedless, sweet or musky flavour: everyone can find something to enjoy in this selection. They climb over a trellis, pergola or sunny wall, while offering their clusters within easy reach.
'Chasselas Doré', known for its thin-skinned grapes and sweet flesh, is widely grown in family gardens. If you like highly fragrant grapes, 'Muscat de Hambourg' produces black berries with a musky flavour. 'Himrod' offers another way to enjoy the harvest, with its golden yellow, sweet and seedless grapes. The grape 'Italia' is very popular, with its large, pale yellow berries and firm, juicy flesh; this late variety needs a sufficiently long, warm summer. Less common, 'Pizzutello Bianco', also known as White Gherkin, can be recognised by its elongated, slightly incurved grapes. By combining grape varieties with different maturities, suited to your region, you can stagger the harvests.
A sunny position, well-drained soil and a sturdy support provide the right conditions for growing your grapevine in the garden. In regions with short summers, choose an early variety and a warm, sheltered position. Refine your choice with our selection of seedless grapes or discover the flavours of our Muscat grapes.
