Very beautiful bright colour! And each young plant has 2 to 3 flowers that follow one another.

Description

The Double Tulip 'Bearing Point' is a tulip that bears large double flowers in raspberry pink . They bloom in April-May.

The flowers are perched on tall, sturdy stems that withstand inclement weather well. This new variety reaches a height of 45cm (18in) at maturity.

The double tulip fits perfectly in large flower beds and by combining it with other tulips, it maximizes the flowering period of the beds. It can also be used in borders, rockeries, flower beds, as well as in pots and containers. This tulip beautifully enhances balconies and terraces. They are also lovely flowers for cutting. It pairs perfectly with tall perennials.

Planting and care

Place the double 'Bearing Point' tulips preferably in a sunny location from October to December for beautiful spring flowering. You can also place them in a partially shaded area. Plant the bulbs as soon as possible in a light, fertile, and well-drained soil that has been deeply loosened to a depth of 15cm (6in) (bulbs should be covered with twice their height in soil). Space the bulbs 10cm (4in) apart, ensuring they do not touch, to create a mass effect. Cut the flower stalks after flowering. Allow the leaves to completely dry before cutting them.
